| A new type of machining means that some of the sub-assemblies delivered are sub-standard. The resident CPS staff step in to bring the affected batches up to standard and filter out defective items. As a result, the original equipment manufacturer meets his obligations to the constructor, avoiding contractual penalties. | It is Friday and time is pressing following an incident. A manufacturer has been unable to carry out a quality screening internally and the parts are due for delivery on Monday. CPS takes over the batches to be screened. The parts are delivered securely, without disrupting the production flow of the constructor, who will not even be aware of the original incident. |

| The transfer of a production unit to Turkey imposes new cultural constraints on a manufacturer unfamiliar with local customs. CPS provides a support engineer to ensure an effective interface between the two cultures. | Following a series of incidents, CPS is called in as backup to inspect a new production line. After a quality control check, CPS helps the various teams implement their quality management procedures. As a result, the reduction in faults enables increased production without additional investment. |
